LINDSAY HUNTER, NCIDQ

CEO & Principal Interior Designer

Lindsay Hunter combines her enthusiasm for interior design with her passion for the equestrian lifestyle to create intentional, inspirational living spaces for people from all walks of life. Past clients appreciate her attention to detail and her ability to bring the best out of any space, no matter how large or small. Lindsay brings a wealth of knowledge, insightful understanding, and elevated scope to every project because she understands why a house should feel less like a building and more like an extension of your life, identity, and passions.

Now based in San Diego, CA, interior designer Lindsay Hunter graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. After an intensive study in art and architecture in Bologna, Italy, Lindsay went on to pursue her studies in Interior Design at Santa Barbara City College where she met the stringent educational requirements necessary to receive her certification in June 2009.

Through collaborations with talented Santa Barbara architects and designers such as Harrison Design Associates, Lori Smyth Design, Randy Franks Studio, and Peter Becker, AIA, Lindsay has made a name for herself by blending her passion for horses and the equestrian lifestyle with design to create a style she fondly calls ‘Modern Equestrian’. With her growing portfolio of nationwide clients, she established Hunter Design in November 2010 and bears the distinction of being certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification.

 When she’s not researching a design or pursuing the perfect finishing touches for her latest project, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband, her two children, and her horse, Remington.

 
 
 
 

ANGELA KRISTEN TAYLOR

MARKETING DIRECTOR & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Angela is an entrepreneurial productivity expert, coach, consultant, and speaker with business development, public relations, content creation, event planning and management expertise. She has made it her personal mission to help ambitious, purpose-driven entrepreneurs and sales professionals overcome fear, stress & chaos so they can create the life and business they want and ultimately, the freedom and security they created their business to achieve.

Angela’s integrative productivity strategies helped her go from chaotic hot mess with big dreams and failed achievements to the woman who raised and homeschooled 5 children while running and growing a successful coaching company, and always creating the perfect balance for herself, her family, and her business, no matter what obstacle presented itself along the way.

Angela joined the Hunter Design team in January 2021. Using her signature method, Productive Flow, she integrates emotion, energy, time and focus to help clients create natural productive flow and achieve higher levels of success in business and more importantly, in life. Angela has helped to transform Hunter Design into a Nationally recognized design firm.

 
 
 
 

ASHLEIGH COCHRAN

DESIGN ASSISTANT

An equestrian from age 7, Ashleigh grew-up right around the corner from horse country in Richmond, Virginia. Originally she jumped into school studying horses, but realized she was craving something more creative. Ashleigh changed majors and schools twice, landing herself at Virginia Tech studying Studio Art and Art History. After a few years of painting and showing her horse, she decided to go back to school for Interior Design in Washington, DC. 

Ashleigh loves combining her passions of horses, art and design whenever possible. She's spent years designing and renovating in Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and Texas. It brings her joy placing all the pieces of the design puzzle together for each client.

In her spare time you can find Ashleigh needlepointing, doting on her puggle Nugget, hiking or Crossfitting in Boulder, Colorado. 

 
 
 

JANELLE HILL

DESIGN ADMINISTRATION

Janelle attended school for interior design in New York City at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She has worked on both the interior designer side and the management side and enjoys both equally. She likes being able to help with the progress of the design, from beginning to end and ensuring that each detail is correct. 

She has spent the past few years working for residential interior design firms and architecture firms, where she focused mainly on project management and procurement. Her favorite part of the design process is final installation and seeing a space obtain new life and functionality, with all the little details coming together.

 
 

REMINGTON, APHA

Equestrian Director

Treasure My Remington brings a wealth of knowledge to the design industry from his twelve years of experience living and breathing the equestrian lifestyle. Although many of us call ourselves “equestrians,” Remington’s qualifications exceeds that of his peers. His understanding of the way horses live is an invaluable resource to our firm.

Remington is registered with the American Paint Horse Association.
